

Brief History
Since 1992, Brokenshire Community Health & Development Center has been a flagship program of the Brokenshire Integrated Health Ministries, Inc. in partnership with communities working towards establishing self-reliant, community-owned and community – managed health programs that will effectively respond to the health needs of the people. It is also the development arm of BIHMI in providing accessible, affordable and sustainable health care services to rural communities in Mindanao.

BCHDC envisions a just, free, peaceful, and healthy society where everyone enjoys abundant and healthy life regardless of race, gender, religious and cultural affiliations.



Mission
BCHDC shall act as a leading catalyst in community health development process towards the establishment of self-reliant community health program.



Goals
Establish community-owned and community-managed health programs that effectively respond to the health needs of the communities.
Establish a network of community health programs, organizations/institutions, health professionals and students that actively participate in community health and development process.
